Abstract: Let G be a finite group. By a sequence over G, we mean a finite unordered sequence of terms from G, where repetition is allowed, and we say that it is a product-one sequence if its terms can be ordered such that their product equals the identity element of G. We denote by B(G) the set of all product-one sequences over G. B(G) is interesting object in variety of mathematical areas, for instance Combinatorics, Invariant Theory, and Factorization Theory, and it is well-studied if G is abelian. In this talk we focus on non-abelian groups, and we study recent algebraic and arithmetic results concerning B(G).[hide abstract]
